Contact Company announced that it has started executing concrete works for its Mercury Mall project, which is located on an area of 2,800 meters in the heart of the Downtown area of the Administrative Capital, in a very special area in Plot No. 80, the first plot of land after the towers on the northern axis of Mohammed bin Zayed, which consists of a ground floor + 10 floors. roles.
Mercury Mall is characterized by the presence of shops, medical clinics, and administrative units for sale in installments in the Administrative Capital, in a strategic location and a distinctive view of the Green River, the Monorail station, Al-Massa Hotel, the Gold Market, and the Egyptian Mosque. It is also close to the government district, the financial and business district, and is also located near 3 Main roads, the regional ring road, the Suez road, and the Mohammed bin Zayed axis, making it easily accessible.
Dr. Ahmed Fekry, Chairman of the Board of Directors, said that the concrete foundations for the Mercury Mall project in the capital have been completed, which is considered an important stage and a major turning point in the life of the project. .
Dr. Fikry said that although these stages are not actually visible to many investors, they represent more than 30% of the project schedule and will be followed by large and rapid steps in completing the project and give a clear indication of the date of completion of the project.
Dr. Fekry added, that the long periods of review of the drawings by the consultants and the Administrative Capital Company, caused a partial impact on the timetable, but it had a positive effect on the technical and design side, which made us confident that the building would be completed according to the highest international quality standards, and thus avoid the most prominent construction and operational errors in the future.
He stated that despite the significant increase in the prices of building materials recently, Contact was able to provide the important and necessary raw materials for more than 60% of the basic and regular work, adding that the rest of the requirements for building and construction are now being contracted to ensure that the company adheres to the customers with the specified timetable. and agreed quality rates.
He explained that Contact is contracting with strong entities to implement its project with the highest quality standards, stressing the company's keenness to speed up the completion of the project to fulfill its obligations towards customers, and to contribute effectively to raising the rates of development and operation in the new administrative capital.
